Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

can supply either limited slip differentials or differential locks for my Land-Rover?

A Limited slip differentials and differential locks are not commercially available for the Land-Rover.

There used to be a company that made a suitable limited slip differential but it Was found to wear out quickly and has been discontinued. In fact, Rover does not recommend this type of equipment as there can be the chance of half-shaft breakage if all the torque supplied by the engine is put through one side of the axle.

It is possible to fit free-wheel hubs and weld up the differential so that there is solid drive but this is not really recommended for the same reason. For our part, we cannot see the necessity for modification of the transmission layout as it is hard to visualize circumstances where the Land-Rover cannot be taken utilizing the four-wheel-drive facility.
