Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TMLATER AL waiting for all kJ vehicles is to be introduced, for an experimental pericid, on 31 streets in the inner and outer areas of the Metropolitan Police district. This decision has been taken by the .Minister of Transport on the advice of the London and Home Counties Advisory Committee.

The regulations, when made, will prohibit waiting on alternate sides of the affected areas on odd and even dates between 11.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Monday to Friday in the inner area, and Monday to Saturday in the

outer area. The regulations will be made when the necessary signs are ready.

A new feature will be the prohibition of the loading and unloading of vehicles on that side of the street on which waiting is_not allowed. The only exceptions to this rule will be the use of vehicles for such purposes as building or demolition operations, repairs to or restoration of a road, and removal of

furniture, or the use of fire-engines and ambulances in an emergency. • Vehicles will be able to park on the permitted side of the street for a maximum of 20 minutes.
