• Renault Truck Industries says that it is "exceptionally pleased" with the reaction to its new middleweight Midliner range.
"Orders for November were up on October, orders for December were up on November, and our orders for January are already up on December," says the company.
'The Midliner range was in
troduced last autumn, and RTI is hopeful that the new trucks will help reverse its declining market share in the sector above 3.5 tonnes GVW.
El Renault Trucks' UK fleet sales manager, Robert Wright, has left the company to become fleet operations manager at AWD Trucks. He will be reporting to AWD sales director Sandy Young.
