The ZF Group has appointed Dr Klaus Bleyer as chairman of the management board.
He joined ZF as the deputy chairman in October 1989, and has been president of the Electrical Systems Group, and SWF Auto-Electric Group.
His predecessor, Dr Friedrich Baur, has retired but will continue to serve as a member of the supervisory board.
