been given one last chance by South Wales Licensing Authority John Mervyn Pugh. On 13 December he revoked the firm's 16-vehicle licence, with effect from 31 December, and adjourned consideration of an application for renewal until 29 December. Evidence had been given of two immediate prohibition notices for neglect having been imposed on the firm's vehicles since it had appeared at a previous public inquiry (CM 21 December — 3 January).
Renewing the licence until the end of April, Mervyn Pugh warned that any further prohibitions indicating neglect would mean the end of the business.
