• Dennis has won a £2.6 million plus order from London Buses' subsidiary companies, Selkent and London United, for 57 Dart midibuses.
It is the biggest London bus order received by Dennis.
The Guildford-based manufacturer, which registered 244 vehicles in 1989, may receive a further order for 64 London buses. The 30 Selkent midibuses will be delivered in May or June and will operate around Bromley. They will replace vehicles on existing routes as well as operating on new ones. London United's 27 midibuses will run on new routes starting in the Richmond/ Hounslow area this spring.
