Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Renwicks Freight has pulled out of warehousing and storage in the Avonmouth area following a Department of Transport compulsory purchase of its base which was in the path of a proposed road.

Al)out 20 staff have been made redundant by the closure, but Renwicks says the DTp's action is "relieving us of a lot of under-utilised assets". It has decided to trim its UK fleet and is disposing of more than 130 CVs and trailers.

"We have recently made a lot of company acquisitions so we have found ourselves with some surplus assets," says Renwicks director and company secretary Philip Holmes.

Renwicks will continue to trade as a haulier in the Avonmouth area.
