Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Milnethorpe bodybuilder Houghtons Parkhouse has built a dual-purpose livestock semitrailer which converts quickly into a conventional curtainsider to give protection to backloads.

The 12.2m semi, built for Manor Farm Partnership of Swindon, has a 250mm-deep, full-height compartment in the angular front bulkhead to store the curtains. Livestock can then be carried without breaking the 40% ventilation rule.

Runners in the top rail allow the curtains to be pulled out and tensioned at the rear and then secured by buckles and straps at the bottom rail. The design adds around £4,000 to the cost of a conventional livestock trailer.
