lk wants to extend the insurance cover to household and life assurance and to offer discounts on goods and services similar to those available from Roads, the buying co-operative Simpson helped set up in Southern England.

He is developing a conditions of contract form, primarily for goods vehicle operators, and a code of conduct which he wants to grow into a competition to reward or reprimand members' drivers who are identified as performing good or had deeds on the road.

In the longer term, a chain of Corto depots may he established.
