SWAINS of Stretton, the Shropshire international refrigerated transport operator, has bought its first new Leyland for more than 20 years.
The Scanimell-built Roadtrain 20.32 6x2 tractive unit has joined the mainly imported fleet of WO trucks on frozen foods transport CO Europe. It has a Cummins NTE320 14-litre engine and Leyland says the vehicle is returning . fuel consumption of 40 litres/hill kin (7 mpg).
