JOHN VANDORE has become sales and marketing director for Scammell, the specialist and military vehicle builder within Leyland Trucks.
He is responsible for the marketing and sales and service of Scammell products worldwide and for parts support for lorries sold outside the UK.
Apart from a brief period abroad, Mr Vandore spent his working career with Leyland. He has held various senior positions with product planning, marketing and sales of both lorry and passenger vehicles.
He was previously sales and marketing director for Self Changing Gears, a Leyland Vehicles subsidiary.
