Robert Wynn and Sons has signed an agreement with East African haulier, Kenya Express, to provide a heavy transport service in East Africa.

Under the arrangements Wynn will be supplying three 240-ton gtw Scammell Super contractors, each with a double swan-neck transporter and an eight-line bogie with a 150 ton capacity.

Wynn's director and assistant general manager, Robert Wynn, said the equipment was pronably the most sophisti cated on the African continent.

He said that under the arrangements, British crews would be flown out to handle ultra heavy loads, but other equipment would be manned by Kenya Express.
