One fee for all T think most small haulage firms will agree with me over the fees for the 0-licence. It is a disgrace that a one-lorry business has to pay the same amount as the big firms.

We have already had to put up with rising diesel prices and the fact that, as far as most tipper firms go, lower haulage rates (we are on the same rate as 10 years ago). Also, the lack of work, especially in the quarry industry.

1 think it is time for a review of the fees we pay—maybe they should be based on each lorry run. And also everyone should pay it, including people who claim to haul only their own stock to market, which in our area doesn't happen. These are the ones who are laughing all the way to the bank, as they haven't got to find the 0-licence fee and that is very unfair.

1-Iaulier from Powys.
