HE affiliation of British Road Services to the Road Haulage Association is deplored by the executive council of the Scottish Commercial Motormen's Union. In a statement the council has called on the Minister of Transport to take immediate steps to reverse the decision of B.R.S., which formally affiliated to the R.H.A. last month.
An official of the union said they were objecting because B.R.S. had now become part Of a body which had consistently fought and tried to destroy nationallzatiort of road transport.
