TWO road schemes planned originally as part of the now abandoned London Ringway 3 have been dropped from the Department of Transport's trunk road programme. Transport Under-Secretary John Horam announced on Monday that the schemes to build a road linking the A4020 in Hayes, Middlesex, to the M1 at Bushey, Herts, and for a link from the A4020 to the M4 at Harlington, had been dropped.
