• Securicor Omega Express is launching Network Europe, a subsidiary operation developing European partnerships for roadbased parcel deliveries with an initial investment of £7.5m in its first three years.
Network Europe will continue the work begun by Securicor on the Continent where it has been operational for 20 years. It currently has a joint venture in France with Grimaud and in Germany with Sigmen-Feust.
The launch is headed by Wayne Denton, Securicor's director of operation — Europe, who says Spain is among his target areas.
Network Europe will operate from Securicor's Vauxhall, south London hub.
