Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RELEASE may be in sight for jailed British driver David Barnes in prison in Saudi Arabia following the deaths of six Arabs in a road smash outside Jeddah two months ago.

Mr Barnes may be released following the payment of £14.000 to the families of the dead Arabs by his company, RF Interport Movements of Leigh, Lanchashire.

A Foreign Office spokesman told CM this week that Mr Barnes had been found to be 60 per cent to blame for the tragedy but, there was no word about whether or not he has stood trial or if he has any right of appeal.

The accident happened when a Cadillac overtook a small Toyota car and smashed into the front of Mr Barnes' nearly new Volvo truck (CM last week).
