• Martin Phippard, the former sales director at truck dealership Westward Commercial Vehicles, celebrated his 70th birthday last Saturday (12 October) with a 100-strong driveby of new and old trucks around his home in Warminster. Phippard, who has Motor neurone disease, viewed the vehicles on the bypass from a lay-by and came down later to the truckstop for his cake, and to see his friends and former customers. The convoy was organised by his friend Richard Paterson as a celebration to Phippard's life.
