• Spotted at this year's European Transport Maintenance Council Conference, a Daf 95 Series fitted with an Eaton Twin Splitter gearbox. Eaton says this vehicle was specially fitted with the transmission as a conversion (the ZF Ecosplit is standard on all 95 Series models), but it is hoped that Daf will start to offer the Twin Splitter as a factory-fitted option in the new year.
There are no plans to offer the vehicle in its Leyland Daf guise in Britain with a Twin Splitter, but Leyland Daf says this could change if there is suffident demand in this country.
