YORK TRUCK EQUIPMENT has introduced an adaptor for ISO wired tractors coupling to SMMT wired semitrailers or vice versa.
An Electramatic kit consists of a pair of adaptors and a sheet of adhesive decals which can be placed adjacent to the connections to identify the system.
A red-bodied adaptor will connect an ISO wired tractor to an SMMT wired trailer, while a yellow bodied adaptor is suitable for an SMMT tractor and ISO trailer.
