Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A range of flashing beacons for vehicles has been launched by Dorman Smith Traffic Products Limited, better known for its range of static roadworks beacons.

Three models, scaled to suit any vehicle from a saloon car to a lorry, fire tender or ambulances, are available. All three have impact resistant polycarbonate lenses and are available in a variety of colours with tungsten, halogen or xenon light sources.

The two larger units feature xenon double hit circuits as standard. These save maintenance by eliminating moving parts, and ensures maximum on-time, say the company.

All are available with either a magnetic base complete with an extending lead for connection to the vehicle's cigar lighter or with bolt-on fixing for permanent installation.

Made for either AC or DC operation, the beacons have been designed to give the maximum output with low current consumption, and have flash rates from 60 to 125 per minute depending on the model and supply source.
