Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Now in service with the Yorkshire Traction Co. Ltd. are the first examples of 26 new buses and coaches scheduled for delivery this spring. The most luxurious are two 49-seat Plaxton Panorama I coaches on Leyland Leopard chassis which are built to the Scarborough firm's latest specification, incorporating sealed windows, Individual jet vents and light units over each passenger seat. A feature of the vehicles is public address systems, which have been fitted to the company's coaches for the past two to three years.

Three other vehicles with coachwork by Alexander are intended both for long-distance service and local work. They are also mounted on Leopard coach chassis. These vehicles are equipped with coach-type seating fitted in such a way as to permit free movement in the gangways when used on normal stage work. Individual jet ventilation and lights above the seats are also fitted, together with large, sealed windows, in this case coupled with a more functional body design.

The Plaxton coaches are fitted with 150 bhp Leyland engines and five-speed gearboxes with Eaton single-speed axles and feature two pedal control to provide extra performance on motorways and hills. The Alexander vehicles are similar, mechanically, but are fitted with 130 bhp engines.

Also recently delivered are seven singledeck stage buses with 45-seat bodies by Marshall of Cambridge. These buses are only 32ft Sin. in overall length, and have bright interiors employing washable plastic laminates. Thermostatically controlled heating systems which provide fresh air ventilation in the summer months are fitted. In addition, the driver can operate a three-way opening roof vent which is worked by compressed air. The Leopard chassis are also fitted with two-pedal control, but have only four-speed gearboxes.
