Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LORRY drivers who attempt to repair their vehicles are being harassed by motorway service area staff because the service areas are now running a "closed shop" in recovery and repairs.

This was disclosed at a recent meeting of the Transport Association, when grave concern was expressed over this "unwritten law".

Members of the TA told that when drivers break down and call their approved manufacturer's agent for assistance, the agent is then apparently required to advise the repair section at the motorway service area.

They in turn attend the breakdown. Several manufacturers are already advising their customers not to make contact with agents but to attend the breakdowns on their own account.
