TWO NEW lines of hardwearing off-road vehicle tyres are being introduced into Britain by the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, Akron, USA.
The Super Rock Grip and the Super Deep Tread LoaderDozer type have been specifically designed for tough underground mining applications.
They contain the toughest tread compound Firestone makes, nylon cord bodies and extra heavy-gauge rubber armoured sidewalls to resist cutting, breaks and bruises.
The Super Rock Grip is available in 12.00 c 24 and 18.00 x 25 sizes, has a nondirectional tread, is puncture-, resistant and can be retreaded.
The super Rock Grip industrial tyre is available in wheel sizes of 9, 10, 12 and 15in diameters.
