London Transport has made two new appointments in the rolling stock division of the bus operating department. W. P. Arrol and W. P. Hunter have become deputy divisional engineering managers in, respectively, the East and South divisions. Mr Arrol has been with LT since 1967 and Mr Hunter joins LT from the London Borough of Enfield.

Ron McSorley has become a director of Renwicks Freight (Scotland) Ltd and is based at Bathgate.

Currently area traffic superintendent (Durham) with United Automobile (National Bus Company), Michael Hunter takes up his new appointment as assistant traffic manager with United Counties on April 1. Mr Hunter joined the industry in 1970 as an NBC senior management trainee with Midland Red.

The new post of assistant service manager with Edbro Ltd, Bolton has been filled by David Best, who began his career as an apprentice with the company in 1956.

Succeeding Melvin P. Hershey as technical director for the Firestone International Company is William D. Non namaker, who was previously director of tyre engineering and development at the Seiberling Tire & Rubber Company.

Bob Roe has become works manager with T. C. Harrison (Trucks) Ltd and Ralph Snape has been appointed accountant.

Gilmour McLaren, managing director of Read McLaren Ltd, which is also part of the TCH Group, has been elected as the National Chamber of Trade's first Cambridgeshire Council chairman and the Council's representative on the Board of Management of the National Chamber of Trade.

Two new appointments have been made by Epco Ltd to its international sales force. Peter Coston will cover Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean and Mukesh Panchal the Middle and Far East.

John J. R. Folmer has become director, Asian and Far Eastern sales with Bandag Incorporated.

Joining MAN Concessionaires GB Ltd as general sales manager is Peter Rotherham. He was previously with Ford's dealer organisation as general manager within the Reynolds Group.
