WE for the bulk buying of tyres and other goods required by members of Yorkshire Coach Oivners, Ltd., which represents over 150 independent operators, has been approved by the directors.

At its meeting, last week, the directors considered quotations from several tyre companies and it was decided to seek further quotations from other makers. Plugs, speedometers and oil are also included in the scheme, but the question of petrol has been left in abeyance.

Mr. A. E. Keeling, the secretary, told our correspondent that in the case of tyres members will save as much as 30 per cent. in cost, and on plugs and speedomtters 40 per cent. Another feature decided upon is the issue of a standard tour book describing most of the pleasure resorts to which coach excursions and tours are run from Yorkshire.
