COACH operators will play an important part in a scheme evolved by the Blackpool authorities to attract visitors during June. Every visitor staying in Blackpool for the five days from June 19 to 23 will be presented with a book of voucher tickets by means of which he or she will be enabled to take advantage of various attractive facilities.
The system under which this novel scheme is to be worked is by means of the return halves of coach tickets. Any operator running services into the town, who wiahes to co-operate with the authorities, is required to undertake that passengers holding return tickets which have been stamped to show that a book of free vouchers has been issued, will not be allowed to return home before June 23.
