• (Left) Mr. Erie Morton Batehelar, municipal sales representative of 'the Associated Equipment Co., Ltd., commenced his business career with the Lanchester Motor Co. His association with A.E.C. interests commenced in February, 1925, and, in that year, he was appointed manager of the company's Manchester depot. In 1929 Mr. Batellelar was transferred to municipal sales activities.

(Right) Mr. G. It. Stratton is the manager of the municipal sales department of Karrier lefotOrs, Ltd., with which company he has been connected since 1926. At the outset he was in charge of the sales of passenger vehicles, but for the past 2i years he has been concerned with the whole of the company's municipal sales. He has been associated with a number of leading makers, including the Thornycroft, Guy, Vulcan and Garrett concerns.

• (Right) Mr. Andrew Robertson, as general manager of Clement Talbot, Ltd., has introduced the Talbot ambulance to the London County Council and other municipal authorities in Great Britain and overseas. His other municipal activities in connection with the .Talbot concern include the production, for police use, of _first-aid vans and speed cars.

(Left) Mr. F. S. Heaton is responsible for the sale of Fowler products relating to gully and cesspool emptying and machines used for street washing and watering, sewer flushing, etc. He had experience with the Yorkshire and the Atkinson concerns before joining John Fowler and Co. (Leeds), Ltd. He is an associate of the Institute of Transport and of the Institute of Public Cleansing.

(Right) Mr. A. W. Gaedertz joined the Daimler-Benz concern, at Stuttgart, in 1925, when he became municipal representative. In 1928 he was appointed assistant general manager of British Mercedes-Benz, Ltd., to control municipal and commercial activities, being, in 1930. appointed general manager and confluing his activities almost exclusively to the marketing of oil-engined vehicles.
