A TWO-DAY conference entitled The Lorry in the CommunityCommonsense or Catastrophe is to be held at the Department of Civil Engineering, Portsmouth Polytechnic on September 14 and 15.
The meeting at Portsmouth will examine the problem posed in the title, offer some possible solutions and discuss the operational consideration.
The conference will be of interest to engineers, town planners, the police and other professionals concerned with the lorry.
