Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

POLICE IN Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire are warning hauliers to make sure their vehicles are secure after a series of thefts from trucks in lay-bys.

In Stoke, a truck parked in a westbound lay-by on the A50, near the Blythe Bridge/ Cresswell roundabout, was pillaged between 11pm and 6am on the night of 8-9 January. A substantial load of toiletries was stolen. Anybody with information should contact PC Stubbs at Cheadle Police Station on 0845 330 2010.

On the night of 7-8 January in Nottinghamshire, hundreds of boxes of dolls were taken from a truck in a lay-by on the Al at Tuxford. This came shortly after a curtainsider was slashed in another Al lay-by, near the exit for Carlton-on-Trent, and a load of Playtex bras was taken.
