Miles Thomas spent some time at the Saurer Works, Arbon. We understand that this was in connection with the probability of the commercialvehicle branch of the Nuffield Organisation—Morris Commercial Cars, Ltd. —building a " heavy " chassis powered by an oil engine. The Organisation has for some years held the only licence in this country to construct an engine of this type embodying the Saurer features.
