• The Labour Party is 'very hopeful" of gaining cross-party support to block a Government proposal to get rid of London lorry ban exemption permits. Labour's front bench spokesman for London, Greenwich MP Nick Raynsford, will attack the proposal in a report to be published next week. He aims to attract support in the Commons and Lords, particularly from London members. Raynsford also wants to clarify an alleged ministerial remark that the Government would not stand in the way of boroughs who want to set up their own bans,
