THE LOW PROFIT margin of coach operators has recently been pointed out in a survey published by Jordan Dataquest. Of 141 private companies 18 per cent were making a loss in 1975 and 1976.
Introduction of competency regulations, in addition with EEC hours regulations, will increase the need for operators to raise their profit margins.
