The type 1404B Precision Sound Level Meter from Dawes covers the range from 34 to 130dBA and fully complies with BS410: 1967 and IEC publication 179:1965. The instrument is powered a small, inexpensive bati giving a typical operating lift 80hr.
Solid-state circuitry is used the meter which weighs 14oz. For outdoor nc measurement an optional wi shield is available.
