IN Ensign Hydraulics is now supplying the Americanmade range of DumpPumps and CH Series gear pumps.

The cast-iron Dump. Pumps are suitable for original equipment or replacement applications. They incorporate steel shafts, alloy gears and pressure balanced wear plates for extended, maintenance-free operation.

The units can be direct or remote mounted with actuation by a lever or an airoperated shifting mechanism. Performance figures claim flows of up to 2081it/min (46ga1/ruin) at 1,800rpm, operating pressures to 170bar (2,500psi) and rated speeds up to 2,400tpm. Available in three sizes, the CH Series gear pumps have been designed for the refuse truck market and can be retrofitted as a direct replacement for most applications. They provide flow rates to 20811t/min at 1,800rpm at pressures up to 136bar (2,000psi).

The gear pump body is manufactured from cast iron and the steel shafts rotate in heavy-duty roller bearings.

All models utilise a proven, lightweight design, which is claimed to combine rugged reliability and sustained high performance with low noise.
