THE ARAB Union of Land Transport, an operators' association based in Jordan, has become an associate member of the International Road Transport Union.
It is non-profit making and represents freight and passenger transport operators in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Syria, Tunisia, and the Yemen Arab Republic. SQL Maritime Services of Cyprus has also become an IRU associate. It is a ferry operator running between Piraeus, Brindisi, Latakia and Haifa.
