Keith Hammond has been appointed sales manager of the automotive division of Sherwood Parsons Ltd., a member of the Donald Macpherson group of companies.

D. Hollister has been appointed Florida Auto Bulbs representative for the Berkshire area. N. Townend has been appointed assistant traffic manager, City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd., from October 1 next. He will succeed A. M. Sedgeley who has been made assistant traffic manager, Northern General Transport Co. Ltd. Mr. Tcnvnend entered the BET training scheme in 1%2 and trained for two years with Southdown Motor Services Ltd. His present appointment is divisional traffic superintendent (north), Potteries Motor Traction Co. Ltd.

G. K. Martlew has been appointed chief engineer, Dennis Bros. Ltd. He was previously experimental engineer, AEC Ltd. He joined AEC when the Thornycroft manufacturing interests were taken over, being experimental engineer there also. Mr. Martlew has served on several committees of the Motor Industry Research Association, covering all aspects of commercial vehicle design.

Guy Scottom, managing director of Scattorn Ltd., who has been on a three-month sales tour of Africa, will return to the UK on September 21.
