WHEN Rochester and Marshall, Ltd., VI' of Great Whittington, Co. Durham, applied for removal of a protective fare last week, the Northern Traffic Commissioners refused the application. The chairman of the Commissioners, Mr. J. A. T. Hanlon, warned them that they must display notices telling passengers of the minimum fare imposed on the servide.
The protective charge is imposed because it is an occasional service.
