Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Having read any number of newspaper stories about the antics of lorry drivers I have just bought my first copy of your magazine just so I could write to and record my appreciation of a driver who proved that your old reputation as "knights of the road" is, in his case at least, still deserved.

My husband and I, both of us pensioners, had stopped for a break at a motorway service area and found out car would not start again.

We were wondering how to get some help when a lorry driver, noticing the bonnet was up, asked if he could help. He quickly found a loose battery connection, got some tools from his vehicle and fixed the problem. He refused to take any payment.

I'm afraid that I didn't make a note of his name or the company name on his lorry but I just wanted to say "thankyou" somewhere he might see it.

Mrs G Marchbank, Peacelwven, Sussex.
