Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

coaches is to be 1-3. put into service by Coras Iompair Eireann at the beginning of the 1963 extended tours season. Initially they will be employed on the luxury and super-deluxe series of holiday tours. They are Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmasters with 40-seater 36-ft. bodywork built at the C.I.E. Spa Road Works, Dublin, and designed by David Ogle Associates of Letchworth.

Wherever possible, Irish materials have

been used, among them being Kineora carpeting in the blue-grey shade known as Bluestack Mountains. Upholstery is in a discreetly patterned Irish tweed.

A special illumination system devised by Mr. L. Dunne, the C.I,E. mechanical engineer (road), and Mr. I. B. Martin Junr., Spa Road works manager, provides fluorescent lighting, the units of which are housed in one of the roof-. mounted air duets of the ventilation system. The two-way illumination gives ample light for seated passengers and a general reflected light throughout the interior.

There is spacious accommodation for the 40 passengers with seats located practically 5ft. from ground level. Windows are specially designed to give a clear view of the countryside. The roof incorporates four large opening panels in amber plastics. Temperature is thermostatically controlled and heating is provided by water-filled radiators. Beneath the racks are personal air controls for each passenger.

The C.I.E. tours programme is to be extended next year and will be in operation from March 17 to November 10, with 30 departures per week in the high season. Innovations for 1963 will include the operation of low-cost " Explorer " six-day and 12-day tours.
