Scotland A77: A 12 tons axle limit and 50 ton gross vehicle weight lirn applies at the Water of Girvan bridge until December 31.
Northern England Contraflow traffic will be in operation until mid-Novembt on a 5.6-mile section from north of the Blind Lane interchange (POE Chester-le-Street) to south of the Carrville interchange (A690 Du ham).
Ml: There is southbound carriageway resurfacing between jun( tions 28 (Leyland) and 29 (Preston) until July. An alternative route i via A6 and A49 to junction 28.
Ml: Repairs to a three and a half mile stretch between junctions 3 and 33 will mean lane closures until early June. At most times, foL lanes will be kept open, but the northbound entry slip road to M18 at junction 31 will be closed.
M6: Both carriageways will be resurfaced for three and a ha miles north of junction 35 (Carnforth). Contraflow arrangements wi be in use until the end of June.
Midlands Al: The Foston by-pass in Lincolnshire will have its northboun carriageway closed until late June.
M5: There are occasional lane closures between junctions Tand until June, due to major reconstruction work.
Ml: Until early October there will be continuous 24-hour two-wa traffic on one carriageway from junction 16 (Northampton West) lc four miles towards Watford Gap.
M6: Until August, all traffic is sharing one carriageway betwee junction 1 (Rugby) and junction 2 (M69 Coventry).
South-east England M1 Contraflow traffic is in operation for 16 miles from Watfor Gap services southwards to two miles south of junction 15 uni November. For part of the time, sliproads to and from the souti bound carriageway will be closed at junctions 15 and 16, but not the same time.
M3: The outside lanes are closed in both directions betwee junctions 3 (Woking/Bracknell) and 4 (Farnborough) prior to majc roadworks scheduled for June.
Wales and the West A30: In Devon repairs are under way at several points along thi route between Launceston and Chard.
A303: Throughout the month there are roadworks at variou points between lIchester and Ilminster in Somerset.
M4: There are various lane closures on the Severn Bridge (ID( tween junctions 21 and 22) and further west between junction 2 (A48 Newport) and junction 25 (Caerleon),
A4: When using this route from Bath to Bristol, be prepared ft delays at Saltford (Avon) as all traffic is controlled by temporar signals.
