THE LATEST addition to Nooteboom Trailers GB's modular low loader systems is a detachable rear deck and bogie module which can also be used as a drawbar trailer.
Hydraulic suspension is standard on the bogie, as on all axles in the system.
Axles are available in rigid, self-tracking and power-steered versions, the latter are normally controlled from the king pin. When the new detachable bogie is used as a drawbar trailer, control is transferred to the drawbar pivot.
An increased steering angle can be achieved by using a wanderlead which overrides the power steering.
