Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Basle Fair, which is an annual event of importance to the Swiss industry, will this year be held from April 17th to 27th. The Fair has made considerable progress since it was reorgan ized on the present lines in 1917. It may be recalled that in September, 1923, the whole of the fair buildings were destroyed by fire and large halls of reini forced concrete were hurriedly built to house the 1924 exhibition. This year the Fair has again been entirely rebuilt.

Amongst the various sections of the Pair is one specifically set aside for transport. Representatives of British concerns who may contemplate visiting the Fair can obtain full information re-, lating to its features on application to the Commercial Division, Swiss Legation, 32, Queen Anne Street, London, Johannesburg Wants a Tower Wagon.

His Majesty's Senior Trade Commissioner in South Africa reports that the. municipal council of Johannesburg is inviting tenders for the supply of a petroldriven tower wagon. Tenders superscribed with the contract number (605) must be addressed under sealed cover to the Town Clerk, Municipal Offices, Johannesburg, not later than April 17th. Further particulars regarding the requirements of this authority can be obtained by British manufacturers from the Department of Overseas Trade, 15, Old Queen Street, London, SAVA, reference AX 2908 being quoted.

Guy's Poster Competition..

Many of our readers will remember that in May last, Guy Motors, Ltd., Fallings Park, Wolverhampton, inaugurated for the third year in succession, their "Feathers in our Cap" Poster Competition. The scheme, in brief, consists of the display of a poster in the showrooms of motor agents until the end of the year, and if they enter for the competition they are allotted a number. In nue course the numbers are balloted and the winner is entitled to the gift of a 1-ton Guy chassis, the current price of which is £295. Last year 837 agents entered for the competition.

The draw for the 1925 competition took place recently, and was performed by Mr. J. T. Ireland, chairman of the West Midlands Division of the Motor Trade Association, in the presence of Mr. S. (S. Guy and Mr. Coldicott, the winning number this year corresponding with that held by R. Crisp, Ltd, of Downton, near Salisbury, who, in accordance with the rules, are thus awarded the 1-ton Guy chassis.

The company inform us that they are running a similar competition this year and that posters will be issued in the course of the next three at eks.
