a watchdog body to supervise the transportation of hazardous goods in Humberside. The union fears that Humberside County Council's checks on the quantity, nature and destination of pesticides, petroleum products and imported toxic waste are inadequate. It suggests a panel similar to that operating in Cleveland, which has representatives from hauliers, emergency services, ports, trade unions and the county council. A report into the idea will go to HCC.
