Kammac Trucking of Birscough, Lancashire, which went into receivership two weeks ago, following cash flow problems. Pointbid has purchased the goodwill of Kammac's staff and a percentage of its vehicles — thought to be about 40. The new company, Kammac 88, will employ about 50 of Karnmac's 130 employees; managing director Paul Kamel becomes depot manager.
