AN lveco 38-tonne tractor was offered by Car Care Plan as a prize for holing in one at the 145yd 14th hole in the company's £100,000 four-day golf tournament at Moortown, Leeds.
Let us hope Car Care Plan is never tempted to put up a similar prize at Wimbledon. Imagine John McEnroe in charge of a 380bhp turbocharged tractive unit after an altercation with the umpire.
