Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Vane Electrical Instruments Ltd. is claimed to be one of the most easily operated models now on the market. Vane technicians, say the makers, can train operators to use it in a day or less. The unit is suitable for carrying out all the required tests in the electrical and fuel systems of petrol engines, the complete procedure taking only five or six minutes.

The Vane "Programme Switch ensures that all tests are carried out in the correct sequence—so that it is impossible for an operator to forget any individual test. Clear instructions for each position of the switch remind the operator of test procedures, and each of the five test leads is labelled with a metal tag so that an operator knows where to make each connection on the engine.

Supplied complete with mobile base cabinet and a detachable exhaust gas analyser, the Electrotune is designed for use either in the garage or on road test. The test cabinet is also portable and requires no outside power supply, being operated from the battery of the vehicle under test.

The unit carries the usual Vane two year guarantee; a 48 hour change over service is available if necessary. Made by: Vane Electrical Instruments Ltd., Cradock Road, Berks.

Price: £160.
