ALLPORT Freight (Holdings) Ltd of London NWIO has bought Chris Hudson (International) Ltd as a going concern.
Most of the jobs have been saved and the existing business has been "preserved". Chris Hudson will be joint managing director of the business.
The receiver, appointed in October, met several prospective buyers of the Essex company whose vehicle assets of 500 trailers and 40 units are worth almost £2.5m.
