DEVON Conversions, the Sidmouth-based coach builders that specialise in passenger and motor caravan conversions of Volkswagen light commercials, is expanding its production facilities.
Devon has taken a one-year lease on the Vulcan works in Exeter, and is planning to employ a further 15 skilled body-builders.
If all goes according to plan, Devon hopes to lease the works for a further 20 years.
Production of conversions on Volkswagen's LT range will be concentrated at Exeter which will remain a satellite to the main works in Sidmouth.
