AS-part of the arrangements to mark the passing of the trams from Liverpool, the last tram, painted a distinctive colour, will operate throughout the week preceding the conversion. Special souvenir tickets will be issued on all trams travelling on the two remaining routes.
The normal tram services will operate until after mid-day peak on September 14, when buses will take over. The full conversion programme, including . route alterations and introduction of the Brookhouse Estate—city limited-stop service, will take place on the following day.
